I would like to introduce myself,

• I began my Real Estate Career in 1984 in Southern California. I moved to the Ann Arbor area in 1997. I have been serving the Washtenaw County Area for 13 Years and have been a Licensed Real Estate agent for over 25 years.
• I have received many awards throughout my career including TOP LISTNG AGENT and TOP SELLING AGENT. I am a CERTFIED RELOCATION REALTOR. In 2000 I moved just outside the city to a small (gentleman’s) horse farm on 16 1/2 acres, where I have enjoyed the country life with my husband and four children and of course the Horses, ducks, Pot Belly Pig, dogs and cats I received my SRES Designation to help seniors in making good decisions on their final home purchase or move. I offer free professional home staging services to all of my sellers to help them prepare their home to be put on the market, this helps in bringing top dollar for my seller’s home in the least amount of time.
• My expertise and keen knowledge of the area neighborhoods gives my buyer clients the advantage when I am negotiating an offer on their behalf. I Guarantee my service to each and every client whether they are Buyers or Sellers I always go the distance for them.
• I am in the Top 5% of realtors NATIONALLY, Accredited Buyer Representative (ABR), Senior Real Estate Specialist (SRES) and Short Sale & Foreclosure Resource Specialist (SFR).

2008 Outlook

As we enter a New Year many Sellers wonder what 2008 holds for them. Though we are not out of the woods yet, there are many positive things happening in Michigan and the Ann Arbor area that is at least changing the attitudes of home sellers and Buyers. The Pfizer facility welcomes Three New Companies moving in this year and they expect another 2-3 other companies to follow. Toyota is still going strong. Ford and GM have financial plans in place to help them become profitable again though it has been a long road and we are not yet near the end, there is a light at the end of the tunnel.

That being said Inventory is going down in the Ann Arbor Area. Buyers that need to move to the area because of Job or Family are still moving, Investors are taking advantage of the opportunity to buy some of the foreclosed and short sale properties and local people continue to upgrade or downsize their homes to meet their needs. I see more and more properties that are priced correctly for current market conditions sell at or close to full price. Buyers certainly don't want to miss the opportunity to buy now with many choices of homes available and interest rates hovering around 6.25%. All and All, I expect this will be a Great Year for both Buyers and Sellers. I expect to see those homes that have been on the market for over nine months now (if priced to correctly ) to sell as we move into Spring.
